About the Project

Exterior redesign plus a 4-level interior gut and renovation.  This renovation also included a new screened porch with contemporary mono-pitched roof and modern front entry portico with contemporary wood-look aluminum soffits to match the custom 5-lite Mahogany wood door.  Our approach to this design is modern-forward with black, white and gray as a base; golden brown and brass tones to add sophisticated warmth throughout.

Open dining room, kitchen and living room space.  We added a black and brushed gold round chandelier to compliment the kitchen pendant lighting; plus, added a full-sized wine cooler.  We added custom-stained butcher block countertops and floating shelves.

We loved creating this open living space with both form and function.  Custom mahogany wood door with red oak stain to match the exterior wood-like aluminum soffit, the wood-capped wrought iron handrails and the custom-stained butcher block counter tops and floating shelves.  The black wavy porcelain tile nicely surrounded the 50” KozyHeat Callaway gas fireplace with a beech wood insert.  The floors are 7” distressed white oak. And black trimmed Pella Impervia windows throughout.

A full-level owner’s suite complete with custom windows, cathedral ceilings, recessed lighting, contemporary ceiling fan, feature limousine black painted feature wall with 3-D wood paneling complimented by dual controlled pendant honeycomb reading lights.

Custom screened porch with 10ft wide (4 panel) sliding glass doors. Contemporary mono-pitched roof provides custom shiplap elevated ceilings inside and Pennsylvania Blue Stone flooring with wrought iron chair rails capped with teak wood.

This modern designed exterior features custom Pella windows, extended roof trusses to create a contemporary portico over the expanded entryway.  We extended the entry way from a 36” x 48” side entry to a 10’ x 10’ front entry way complete with a wrought iron handrail.  The siding is black james hardie board and batten with a custom mahogany wood 5-lite door with red oak stain.  We also included wood-look contemporary aluminum siding as soffits around the entire house which match the front entry door.
